So good。 So so goodI think this has been my favorite of the Billionaire Bachelors。 Two damaged people fighting through their feelings， so much spicy （5/5 spicy） tension， and not a lot of bickering and arguing like so many other books out there。 I’ve become emotionally attached to the Fritz family。 And who knew Ferris wheels could be so much fun？

Doctor Heartless by J。 SamanOh boy talk about mistaken identity。 That is exactly what happens to London。 He is mistaken for his playboy twin。 This was such a good book。 It is so much more than an enemies to lovers book。 It is a great written story about overcoming your past。 It is a great emotional story you won’t want to miss。

Rating: 3。75/5Smut: 3/5I liked this book。 I loved seeing the rest of the Abbot-Fritz family， especially Luca。 Though， I have to say this book fell a little short for me unfortunately。 I found the back and fourth Landon went through with his guilt for his wife and the fight between staying away from but not staying away from Elle。 I understand to an extend why obviously he did that。 but it just didn't make sense to me that he would argue how he had to stay away from Elle only to hours later jump Rating: 3。75/5Smut: 3/5I liked this book。 I loved seeing the rest of the Abbot-Fritz family， especially Luca。 Though， I have to say this book fell a little short for me unfortunately。 I found the back and fourth Landon went through with his guilt for his wife and the fight between staying away from but not staying away from Elle。 I understand to an extend why obviously he did that。 but it just didn't make sense to me that he would argue how he had to stay away from Elle only to hours later jump her when she gets home from her date/dinner party。 it just moved a little to fast。 I loved Stella and seeing the depth in her character compared to what we had seen in prior books。 She's one of the sweetest teens。 I wished we'd have gotten at least a scene/chapter of Landon at work in his cardio element。 considering one of the series' main theme is 'doctor' and is one of the main reasons I was attracted to reading the series。 hence， I think it's a real shame it didn't have that。 I know there's like a 2 min scene at the hospital where deals with Elle's father。 but prior to that it would've been good to see like an in depth day at work for him。 Like we saw Elle a lot at work。 The ending was also just underwhelming and rushed for me。 I look forward to Luca and Kaplan's books。 Overall， it was a decent read。 But I would say book 1 and 2 of the series in my opinion is much better thus far。 。。。more

Doctor Heartless is steamy and emotion filled。 It’s a romance with a lot of depth and so much heartbreak， but then there’s a sweetness to this story， too。 Landon Fritz is a single dad to his daughter Stella and a doctor， just like the other Fritz brothers， and is out for an uncharacteristic night out alone when he meets Elle， the recently divorced schoolteacher that’s new to Boston。 They hit it off at the high-end bar and share one amazing night all while agreeing to keep it to just that: one ni Doctor Heartless is steamy and emotion filled。 It’s a romance with a lot of depth and so much heartbreak， but then there’s a sweetness to this story， too。 Landon Fritz is a single dad to his daughter Stella and a doctor， just like the other Fritz brothers， and is out for an uncharacteristic night out alone when he meets Elle， the recently divorced schoolteacher that’s new to Boston。 They hit it off at the high-end bar and share one amazing night all while agreeing to keep it to just that: one night。 Little do either of them know that they’re going to wind up becoming next-door neighbors literally the next day， and Landon’s little lie of letting Elle think he’s really his brother Luca is going to blow up in his face。 Upon figuring out their new situation， things don’t go well and there’s quite a bit of drama， but through this book we see Landon and Elle move forward into so much more than neighbors annoyed with each other。 Landon and Elle are so good as the main characters！ He’s definitely my favorite Fritz now。 Like he’s surly but a devoted dad and secretively a really amazing guy。 He has so much going on with his past with what happened so sadly to his deceased wife/Stella’s mother， and that’s really such a controlling factor when we first get into his story。 It’s like there’s a war going on inside of him， and it’s something I found endearing and real about his character。 Then， there’s Elle。 She’s also got so much going on with her ex-husband and family， but she’s so strong and resilient。 Somehow， despite everything she’s gone through， she’s still this sunshiny sort of character that has the ability to persevere no matter what。 Her character is the sort you really root for， and I love how strong she is。 The way Landon and Elle are with each other isn’t necessarily easy for a bit there， but I completely adored how their story unfolds。 Also， the supporting characters， especially Landon’s family， are such a driving force in this book （and series）。 If you’ve read the other books in this series， you’ll love how Landon’s family pops up when needed。 They’re peppered in at just the right moments， and I really think they’re sort of catalysts for the individual characters’ changes in the series。This is a spicy and loveable must read。 It’s seriously everything I wanted Landon’s story to be， and I cannot wait for Luca’s story next。 。。。more

Oh， all the feels and complications。Ellery cuts loose with a one night stand with Landon。 Who morphs into the grump next door。 He’s also her students dad。 He blames himself for his wife’s death and is a hot mess。 So， they are thrown together constantly and the sparks just sizzle between them but it’s balanced with their previous marriages and his daughter。 Recommend。

Can I give this book more than five stars？ Each book makes me fall more and more in love with Boston's Billionaire Bachelors series and with J。 Saman's writing！ I am obsessed with each of the Abbott-Fritz brothers。 I was so excited to get Landon's book; I have been curious about him since the first book， and his story did not disappoint！ I devoured this book in one sitting， literally because each page kept getting better and better。 This book was full of emotions （a delicious rollercoaster of em Can I give this book more than five stars？ Each book makes me fall more and more in love with Boston's Billionaire Bachelors series and with J。 Saman's writing！ I am obsessed with each of the Abbott-Fritz brothers。 I was so excited to get Landon's book; I have been curious about him since the first book， and his story did not disappoint！ I devoured this book in one sitting， literally because each page kept getting better and better。 This book was full of emotions （a delicious rollercoaster of emotions）， angst， swoon， entertaining， and steamy; there was love， passion， grief， forgiveness， and growth。 Landon， a cardiologist， single father， and widower who is grumpy and aloof， has been for a while。 One night he will allow himself to have some "fun，" and he will meet Ellery， what was supposed to be a nightstand， which will turn into much more once he finds out she is his new neighbor and his daughter's new teacher。 How long will he stay away from Elle when he feels different toward her。 Ellery， or as everyone calls her， Elle， was a beautiful character。 Elle is a history teacher， so sweet and caring; she has moved to Boston in search of a new life after her recent divorce。 Ellery will meet Luca， or is it Landon？ It was supposed to be just a one-night thing， but he is now his neighbor and his daughter's new teacher， which whom she will establish a beautiful relationship。 Landon & Elle's grumpy/sunshine， enemies/lovers dynamic was everything to me; I enjoyed every second of it。 I love Landon's relationship with his daughter; they have a special bond that made me melt。 I love Elle and how determined she is to begin her new life and not let what her husband did dictate who she is。 These two are stubborn as they get！ They will fight against that undeniable chemistry， their passion， and how drawn they feel for the other。 Isabelle is scared to give love another chance after her terrible experience with her ex-husband; he left her with some scars。 Landon feels like he doesn't deserve happiness or to be loved; he blames himself for his wife's death， and not giving love another chance is his way of punishing himself。 Landon & Elle will outgrow their fears， and they help one another; it was beautiful to see their growth as a person， as well as their growth as a couple。 This series is addictive！ You can read each book as a standalone， and I highly recommend all of them！ Especially if you love Enemies-to-Lovers Romance and Grumpy/Sunshine Romance。 。。。more

Overall Grade: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️It has been some time since I’ve read a new author to me。 When I saw the blurb for J。 Saman’s Doctor Heartless， I wanted to read about a cruel， heartless doctor and his love-hate relationship with a woman he meets as a one-night stand。 I love a hardened hero; it’s my romance catnip。 We know that they have emotional walls built from past trauma， and they fall so hard for the heroine， who is usually kicka@@ and in charge。 All of this is true of J。 Saman’s Elle and Landon。 Overall Grade: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️It has been some time since I’ve read a new author to me。 When I saw the blurb for J。 Saman’s Doctor Heartless， I wanted to read about a cruel， heartless doctor and his love-hate relationship with a woman he meets as a one-night stand。 I love a hardened hero; it’s my romance catnip。 We know that they have emotional walls built from past trauma， and they fall so hard for the heroine， who is usually kicka@@ and in charge。 All of this is true of J。 Saman’s Elle and Landon。 However， while seemingly different （he’s a billionaire from a prestigious， renowned Bostonian family， and she’s a middle-class woman from Texas）， their pasts make them more alike than different。 The beauty of J。 Saman’s Doctor Heartless is the emotional journey that each of them must pass to overcome past traumas。 What transpires is a tortured， steamy push/pull story that beckons you to turn the page towards their happy ending。 Landon’s characterization is delicious。 He’s buttoned-up， a single dad whose life is all about his daughter。 He carries the pain of his wife’s death and has decided that he is not worthy of love。 As such， he’s stern and closed off to everyone except his daughter and family。 This means he is due for a fall into love， and J。 Saman doesn’t make it easy on the man。 When he meets Ellery in a bar one night， he is haplessly and instantly attracted to her。 Throughout much of the story， he fights his attraction to her， when he realizes she’s his next-door neighbor and his daughter’s teacher。 And each moment he fights， he falls deeper and deeper until the poor man can’t help himself but love her。 Landon’s evolution is one of the best parts of Doctor Heartless because we learn through his story that past mistakes don’t negate the ability to love and be loved。 Ellery aka Elle is essential to Landon’s journey。 Like Landon， she has endured past trauma at the hands of her ex-husband。 Unlike Landon， though， she decidedly leaves her comfortable life and marriage behind in order to become the best version of herself。 She’s bold， compassionate， and strong。 She challenges Landon in a way that no other woman has， and like him， she struggles to avoid her attraction to him， only to find herself addicted to the man。 There is no Landon without Elle in this story。 Together， their chemistry is pure fire。 Add to this Landon’s thirteen-year-old daughter， Stella， who is oftentimes the wisest person in the room。 She binds them together， and J。 Saman has written this in a way that feels meaningful， not tertiary to the story。 She also reminds us that Doctor Heartless is book 3 of a larger series of standalones， and even though I haven’t read books 1 and 2， I don’t feel as though I’ve missed anything from this series。 J。 Saman beautifully integrates the Abbot-Fritzs well into this story， teasing us with the details for their stories while avoiding stalling Landon and Elle’s story。 Doctor Heartless is everything I wanted to read。 Landon and Ellery’s journeys are apt reminders of our ability to overcome our pasts through the action of loving and being loved。 If you’re like me and love yourself a grumpy， closed-off hero who is brought to his knees by a willful， strong heroine， then grab this newest book from J。 Saman。 。。。more

woo oh my where to even begin， Landon Fitz is cold and has a little bit of walls up， well enter Elle she breaks down his walls， he starts to see the sun shining through that is Elle， This book was so so great so wonderful so amazing ahh ok ill stop but in all seriousness each of these books is better than the last。 I love the passion between Elle and Landon it was so special to read about， I love watching grumps fall in love with Sunshine girls， I cant wait for the next book ， Bring it on。

Doctor Heartless was an amazing read！ I really enjoyed the characters and the storyline。 Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and I have been curious about Landon's past since he has been a side character throughout this series。 Landon and Elle both have some tragic history that will make you want to give them hugs and of course， the emotional baggage is still being dealt with。 From a hot and steamy one-night stand as strangers to them becoming neighbors unexpectedly， their love-to-hat Doctor Heartless was an amazing read！ I really enjoyed the characters and the storyline。 Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and I have been curious about Landon's past since he has been a side character throughout this series。 Landon and Elle both have some tragic history that will make you want to give them hugs and of course， the emotional baggage is still being dealt with。 From a hot and steamy one-night stand as strangers to them becoming neighbors unexpectedly， their love-to-hate relationship was one I enjoyed！ It has the perfect mixture of angst and steam and I was cheering them on to their HEA。 。。。more

Elle and Landon were so great together。Both had baggage from past relationships， but they each were able to calm and help the other through it。I loved the patience they had with one another while also being able to stand up for themselves。Stella was adorable and I loved how well they all got along。 I loved being back with the Fritz family and am excited for more from them！

I've been a big fan of Ms。 Saman's since I read the first book in this series。 So， I couldn't wait to read Landon's story as a grumpy single dad and widower who is surprised and intrigued by a feisty outspoken teacher who was supposed to be a one-night stand。Ellery "Elle" Wilde is divorced from an emotionally abusive ex-husband， living next door to the man she had a one-night stand with， and she is a middle school teacher who is teaching history and sex-ed to her grumpy neighbor's daughter。 Oh， I've been a big fan of Ms。 Saman's since I read the first book in this series。 So， I couldn't wait to read Landon's story as a grumpy single dad and widower who is surprised and intrigued by a feisty outspoken teacher who was supposed to be a one-night stand。Ellery "Elle" Wilde is divorced from an emotionally abusive ex-husband， living next door to the man she had a one-night stand with， and she is a middle school teacher who is teaching history and sex-ed to her grumpy neighbor's daughter。 Oh， and the man is Dr。 Landon Fritz from the billionaire Abbott-Fritz family though when she slept with him the asshole used his twin brother's name， Luca。 Now he treats her like something he stepped in。 War it is。 Challenge accepted。Dr。 Landon Fritz loves his family and his daughter is his number one priority。 As part of a billionaire family full of doctors， there is no shortage of gold diggers and opportunists in his life， so when his new neighbor is the stunning woman he had mind-blowing sex the night before his hackles go up。 He wants no part of her。 He has his own guilt and baggage to carry and he doesn't need any complications。 Until his daughter forms a bond with her and brings her into their lives。 His daughter needs a woman in her life， but he hates this stubborn， sexy woman who is getting under his skin。 Should he stay away and continue to be a lonely and angry man， or is it time to start anew？Elle and Landon are two vulnerable people who don't know how to trust and love again。 Elle has her clusterfuck of a crappy blackmailing family and her selfish and abusive narcissistic ex-husband。 And guilt-ridden Landon blames himself for his wife's tragic death。 Elle is kind and outspoken so when Landon keeps giving her mixed messages， I cheered for her candor while putting him in his place。 My favorite was in the coffee shop when she shocked both Landon and Luca with her well-deserved comeback including a feisty wink and blowing a kiss in their direction。 Priceless！ I also want to add that Elle is an exceptional teacher as she takes on the subject of sex education with a bunch of middle schoolers。 Elle's PTSD heartbreaking moment in the kitchen is an eye-opener and a decided change for Landon on how messed up and abusive her marriage was and how he treated Elle from then on。 Landon is difficult and brutally honest， but he shines as a single adoring dad for his daughter， Stella， such as designing a greenhouse for Stella supporting her love for environmental sustainability。 As any parent knows， raising a child on their own is difficult and he is a busy surgeon who feels guilty leaving his daughter alone。 His decision to let Elle be a part of his daughter's life as a teacher and a friend is another turning point that makes them grow as friends and more。 And yes， it is rewarding seeing Elle bring happiness to Landon and Stella while they all learn to trust love again。 Watching Landon's undoing is the best yet of the Fritz boys。If you have read my other reviews for Doctor Scandalous and Doctor Mistake you will see that I admire the Abbot-Fritz family。 They have each other's backs and interfere in each other's lives in a loving way。 I can't wait to hear Luca's story next。 As for Elle's family， she's better off without that nasty crew of evil manipulators。Once again， Ms。 Saman does a fantastic job penning a beautiful heartwarming love story filled with emotionally damaged characters learning to forgive themselves and move on with their lives。 This book can be read as a standalone， but I recommend reading all of the series to get to know the wonderful Abbot-Fritz family。Thank you to Ms。 Saman for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review。 。。。more
